Adding images and links in newsletter

aha ok..
some of them are choosing html .. so maybe because of they were choosing text?some of them wo using outlook got the images also.. so probably that too

No button for already created customers but you can force the html selection as default(can be changed by customer at creation time) for futher registrations at

admin > config > customer details > Customer Default Email Preference > select "1" - html

I would suggest that unless your customer specifies in writing that they want their choices changed, to NOT edit all of your customers newsletter choices..

I have beautiful html emails ready to be send out (and plain text alternatives), they are complete with image links to products and categories. When I tested the email none of the image links are working. The Alt is displayed when you hover but the links are not clickable. I know the HTML is sound because I also tested it in Outlook Express and it delevered fine. all imaged are displaying fine also.
What could be the problem?

I hope someone can help, i posted about this someplace but had few answers and none that solved the problem.
