Installer hangs on writing config files

Installer hangs on writing config files

I am having a problem - I get to the page
/zc_install/index.php?main_page=config_checkup&action=write

then it hangs can anyone help me?

Who is your hosting company?
What operating system is your server running?
What is the content of your /includes/configure.php file "now"?
What permissions-settings are active on each of the configure.php files?

i think if you check this folder on your server, you'll see it probably didn't upload correctly:

/includes/modules/pages/config_checkup/

fixed my issues...

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I had the exact same problem. Reinstalled 3 times, and finally downloaded the very latest. Still same issue, blank page after DB setup. The config_checkup folder was simply not there. Someone pleeeease build in this check into the installer:smile:

So Im having the same problem, after redownloading the files of both 1.3.8 and 1.3.8a from sourceforge the folder seems to be missing from both, what files are meant to be in this folder (if any)?

I had the same issue. The folder is zc_install/includes/modules/pages/config_checkup. As soon as I reloaded it, the installation completed. Thanks for the information, wish I'd checked the forum 3 hours ago!
