Download product - shipping address error

I've set up a download product following the FAQ and point 3 at the bottom of the FAQ says;

3 - Downloads in an order by itself will never see the checkout_shipping page ... if you do then your Product is setup wrong for Downloads

My product is set up correctly as step 1 of 3, "shipping" is skipped and the rest of the purchase operation continues to completion. The only problem is that the order get stuck at Pending as zen cart flags the fact that there is no shipping address but there is a billing address as an issue. The order gets stuck on Pending with a red dot (Shipping and Billing address don't match).

If I manually change the order status to Processing in Admin, the download becomes available in the Order and it downloads fine.

Has anyone seen this issue before?

Are you sure it is stuck or just flagged?

The Orders just flag with the red dot when there isn't a match on Customer, Shipping and Billing address ...

What Payment module(s) are you using?

The Download should be fine if the Billing matches the Customer Address and not show the red dot flagging the order ...

NOTE: Again the flag is just a warn, a way to alert you that there could be a problem and to check the order ...

isnt there a way to bypass that part of the checkout process and use PayPal IPN or DLGuard? I was going to buypass the whole checkout process and use DLGuards button code and place the code in the code for the checkout button or the add to cart button.

Just a thought.
