Making a different kind of page - mandatory attributes, etc

Hi,

  1. I need to make selecting an option value under each option name mandatory, before you can click add to cart. How can I do this?

  2. Instead of having an add to cart button I need to have a 'next step' button. On this next page the customer must be able to enter their measurements into text boxes. After this I need them to be able to add to cart. How can I do this??

I really look forward to hearing your answer!

  2. Instead of having an add to cart button I need to have a 'next step' button. On this next page the customer must be able to enter their measurements into text boxes which will be saved under their name. After this I need them to be able to add to cart. How can I do this??

I really look forward to hearing your answer!

Re: Making a different kind of page - mandatory attributes, etc

To force a conscious selection, make another option value called "Select" or whatever for each option name, and then in Attributes Controller add "Select" to the product, making it Default and Display Only.

The "next step" page will require some serious custom coding.
