language and catalog

Newb here. I installed a french language pack in my zen cart works great. Problem is on the english side I have my products and on the french side I don't. I uploaded the products on the english side first. Can anybody tell me how I can fix this problem. So that my french customers see the products in french and the english customers see the products in english.

The only thing that seems to work is to upload the products manually into the french side??

Zencart is extremely clever, but can't do translations on its own (yet). I'm not sure if easy-populate can help you, as I don't use other languages in my zenshops.

But yes... adding descriptions etc in French is a manual task...
