How to turn off side box just on the main page?

Hello,

I want to turn off side boxes just on the main page (still want side boxes to show up in other pages).

How can I do that?

open includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_main_page.php

add the following declaration

if ($this_is_home_page) {
$flag_disable_right = true;
$flag_disable_left = true;
}
