space between catagories on navigation bar

I would like put some space between the categories in the NavCatTabsWrapper. How do I do that?

you can add padding to it through stylesheet.css but I fdo not know is what you want

thank you. I found that I am supposed to put padding in the #navCatTabs ul li a {} section.
