Display VAT when click through to checkout?

Hi,

I'd like to have all my prices displaying as ex-VAT.

But when they click through to the shopping cart, i'd like the visitor to see the amount of VAT being added.

I've set up a tax rate in the admin panel of 17.5% and applied it to my country (UK) but I can't see the VAT being added anywhere in the basket/checkout. I've selected the product to be "Taxable Goods".

Where am I going wrong?

Still not having any luck.

Display Prices with Tax is set to False in Config > My Store.

I have a UK Zone setup, a UK Zone definition, a class of Taxable Goods and a rate of 17.5%.

Any ideas??

Rob, How about this...

Call up any one of your products to edit through:-

ADMIN>>>CATALOGUE>>>CATEGORIES/PRODUCTS>>> (select category, then select a product to edit.)

Look at the TAX CLASS drop down. What is your setting here? Depending on how you have set up your tax classes, this should be selected as UK VAT, or VAT. If it is showing as --none--, then it won't apply a tax class to the product.

It could be that you are applying the incorrect Tax Class to your products, perhaps?

(You can do a Mass Update of Tax Class using EasyPopulate.)
