Can ZEN CART handle big orders?

Hi,

I actually work as a small wholesaler, I currently handle around 30 paid orders a day, wich contain 10 to 200 articles each.

I also give price to around 100 orders a day.

My question is:

Can ZEN CART handle 600-1000 visits a day and manage 100 orders a day with 10 to 200 articles for each?

If yes do I have to get a virtual server or my linux sharehosting is enough?

I 'm very busy with a lot customers so I don't want to lost them all with an online solution! :blush:

Do you mean you would email these 10 to 200 articles for each order?
I guess a BW or 5 GB should do but I may be wrong

shared server is OK... I have 3 ZenCarts running on one server (shared Linux) One store is much more popular than the others, and ZenCart handles it perfectly. Large orders per day, and mulyiple items.. (Never had over 15 per order I dont think)

Even if your shared server has a bunch of processors, memory, etc it all depends on how much your server is getting hit. How many other websites are on the server? Ask your host... they should be open with you.. if not, then consider a hosting company that will be open with you.

I will run beta test with selected big customers first to ensure my sharing hosting is enought, if problems happen I will think about a server.
