Some USPS rates estimate wrong

After I enabled USPS shipping method with
EXPRESS
PRIORITY
PARCEL

it calculates EXPRESS and PRIORITY correctly, but it gives me a much higher price and longer delivery period on PARCEL POST , compared to the USPS web tools site calculator.

Anybody experienced that and any ideas why?

Check what setting you are using for whether you are using Machinable shipments or not ...

Thanks, that lead me in the right direction -

I had the default value for Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight set to a number larger than 0
