having categories and products on the same page

like the title says is there a way to have products and categories appear on the same page?

If you mean put Categories and Products in the same Category ... then, not without re-writting the code ...

It is not designed for this and things actually do will not function correctly if you try to work around this rule ...

If you just want Products and Categories to display on the same page ... you can code anything you like to happen with displays ... :smile:

You need a lot better definition on what you are trying to do ... such as where and when you want to see Products and Categories together and just what the criteria is to make such a display ... :smile:

I have them on the same page - it gives a warning in the admin area when you first move it together, but it's all functioning just fine from all tests.

I added the folder where it would allow then moved it - same with products if I already had sub-categories there, I added it somewhere else then moved it in. Here is the site that I mixed them:
