Bettercategories documents sidebox as second category box.

I am using the documents sidebox to hold a secondary part of my categories.

I used these instructions: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44445&highlight=two+category+boxes (see post #5).

What can I do to cause the documents sidebox to only show categories ( or categories and subcategories), but no products when opened up? I got the actual categories box to work this way, by setting Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories to off. This does not work for the second box (documents).

A second question:

Is there any easy way to edit bettercategories so that if you click on the category a second time it will close back up?
