Different Shipping Rules For Different Categories

I have a category that has different shipping rules. My normal products have flat shipping but ready-to-drink i want it to have per item.

If you go to Products > Ready-To-Drink
I want under 12ct. shipping $2.50/item
and 12+ct. shipping to $4.50/item

If it is mixed then the normal products have flat rate and ready-to-drink has per item

Is there any way to do this? Anyone have a new module or code i can place into a file to have this?

I'm pretty sure someone has some kind of solution. I read about shipping weight but i don't know if this applies.

I have a similar situation and would love to hear an answer on this. I'm working with multiple suppliers - but they require different shipping, without it being a customer choice.

Is there a way to set certain shipping for certain categories or products? I have not found any answers to this on the forum.

Be patient, we are working on a module for this, should be ready within 1 or 2 weeks.

My circumstance is I have 2 categories and I need two different shipping rules for these 2 categories.

Any idea how can I do that?

Has this module been completed yet? I need to be able to assign shipping method by product as the others were asking about.
