Different Carrier For Different Countries

Hi all,

I've spent several hours on this and can't find an answer to fit my needs.

At our company, we ship UPS to all orders within the United States.
Any International orders are handled by the post office.

Can someone please direct me to a thread or explain to my how this can be set up in zen cart? As of right now, i've created two zones, Domestic and International.

Domestic includes the United States (all zones)
International included several countries in which i'd like to provide shipping calculation for.

Thank you very much!

Re: Different Carrier For Different Countries

In the shipping module configuration in ADMIN, your first stab at solving this may be to configure ZONE SHIPPING.

There are lots of threads and posts about ZONE SHIPPING on the forum, so you should be able to figure it out.

There is also a comprehensive shipping module developed by Connor Kerr (CEON) called REGION TABLES, but it's quite advanced.

It's not in the downloads - you have to collect it from Connor's site.

Search the forum for CEON or REGION TABLES

Re: Different Carrier For Different Countries

Yes, I have set up all zones, and applied the to their appropriate carriers. Thus far, I have been successful in getting the UPS module to respect my zones, however my USPS option will not show up when I try the shipping estimator from a country I have in the international zone.

Is there something i'm doing wrong?
