Site won't come up!

Nothing has changed but the host says that it's a cart problem and not a host problem.

...it is sporadic. Sometimes it comes up, sometimes not. Seems like a host issue -- but wanted to get expert input first.

This site has been featured in a well known magazine and the traffic is higher, but nowhere near bandwidth limit. Being down is detrimental right now, so any help is MUCH appreciated. THANKS!

Thanks -- installed but there's nothing in the cache file but an .htaccess and an index.php

Check the folder now.. I can't get to the site and if it's a zencart error, there should now be a file in there.
Be sure ti refresh the folder.

Still nothing, I even logged into the host to see their web-based file manager.

Do you have cpanel? Can you look at both the error.log and the raw error.log.
If I can't see your site, others can't. I have yet to see it today and I've tried since you first wrote.

I created a new DB and transferred data - seems to be working now.

Looks like a database problem which is definitely a Hoster problem. As your 'htm' pages work just fine but any page using a database connection does not, you would be best to contact the Hoster.

The learning is in the doing.
