Directly Add Downloadable Product with "Add to Cart"

Hi Guys, I was sure the question was asked before, but cannot find the information...

We want customers to have the option to directly add their product to the cart in the multiple product listing page. We have a lot of downloadable products and they have just one attribute. Is there anyway the cart could be told to allow "add to cart" on the product listing page if it is just one attribute?

Is there someone who might be able to answer if this is a possibility or not, please. Our customers have asked for this many times. :)

This code would need to be customized and I have not see any add-ons for this at this time ...

We are looking into additional options for Downloads but I cannot say when we will be working them into Zen Cart ...
