Need help with 1.2.6 & mySql 5.x

Hello,

*** Problem #1 - I had some problem when i tried to move my server,
On the pages, when I clicked on the categories, the products did not come up but only the error message came up. I went throught but came to to problem of

1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause'

using the following method, i solved my problem.

Except now, the categories show the items, but when i select a product, it gives me that message. Can any1 help me on how to fix this problem.

*** Problem#2 - Also my admin area loads, and when i put in my username and password, it just goes to page can not be found... any help on this?

Thank you

my suggestion would be update your shopping cart to a currently supported version of Zen Cart (current version is 1.3.8a).

when you hit submit (after entering your username and password) is the URL correct? (if not maybe you forgot to change the config file in your Admin/includes folder)... if the address is correct, it could be a conflict with MySQL and your version of zen cart (1.2.6), I remember reading a while back that Zen Cart 1.2.x is not compatable with MySQL 5.x ... again, I suggest updating to a newer version of Zen Cart.

Problem is we have customizations on the site... Any solutions for now?

No,
no solutions,
you will need to incorporate your updates in your upgrade

What is the best steps to take in upgrading from 1.2.6 to 1.3.8..

Is it to just install a new 1.3.8, then create the template, then create the customizations?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
