Is this possible? Disabling downloads on orders over a certain total amount only...
In the industry I am in, file sharing and fraud / charge backs are an issue... as I am sure it is with anyone with downloadable goods.
I'm wondering if there is a way to make it where orders over a certain amount - say $50 - have to be verified / activated by an admin before the downloads become available so that the purchaser cannot immediately download them.
On orders under the $50.00 total they would be immediately active upon successful payment as usual.
This limit to be set and changed in admin somehow... ?
The reason being, I'd like to snail mail large order to the customer, to have some recourse for charge backs and something tangible to track as shipped.
With paypals current policies, digital sellers have no protection what-so-ever, with being able to ship on cd/dvd for larger orders it could give tangible goods and more protection and tracking / proof against fraud.
