Individual shiiping cost per item

Hello All.

Could anyone please offer me any assistance.
I am trying to use varying shipping costs per item and after checking out other threads i find that i need to inset the shipping cost in the product weight section, I have then disabled the various weight setting in admin but i am still unable to get it to work.
In the estimate shipping sections is still brings the weight (in pounds) and the shipping cost remains empty
Can anyone please help me

Did you write your own shipping module or are you using the built in Per Unit Rate perweightunit shipping module for this?

NOTE: you should adjust the settings on the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... to not add weight with the Tare and to not consider the Maximum Value by raising it high enough to not affect the "weight" as the "weight" is now really the Shipping Cost ...

I am using the built in Per Unit Rate perweightunit shipping module.

The Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight is set to 0:0 I have also tried this blank
I had set the Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship to 10000

In the admin/module/shipping the per unit perweightunit is currently showing as amber allthough is is set to true the shipping cost per unit box is empty, I dont know if this should have anything in

mine is showing green on true amber on false when on true and i got to the check out it states the price i set for handling fees.

I am having the same issue. I need to be able to set shipping cost based on the item. Was anyone able to get this working?
