Getting rid of Sideboxes and having just links

I would like to get rid of the boxes around the catagories, search and so on sideboxes. I would like to have my own links. I found another zen cart users site and would like to know if you could review her site and mine and advise me what I need to do to get my left side to look like hers. My site is savethedatebridal.com/store and her site is http://www.imaginart.com.au/shop/

One more question. If you go to the very top of my page just above my header image in the white space a link pops up in blue that says "Save the Date". How do I completely get rid of this? Thanks,

Change this to get rid of the border etc

.leftBoxContainer, .rightBoxContainer, .singleBoxContainer{ margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fffbf3; border: 1px solid #5086b4; } delete border

do this to all parts of boxes you want to change
Look 4 this in your style sheet

/Side boxe bordercolor and background color etc./

For the logo link, add to your stylesheet:

#logo a {display: none;}

Oh forgot to mention, Im not sure why that hover save the date is coming up, sorry Im no expert, but that is normally where you would have your logo image ie logo.gif which would be located in your

/includes/templates/your_template/images/logo.gif

and the logo picture is a link to your home page, looks to me like you have the link working but no image and You are using your background image as your logo image, im not sure, sorry I cant help more. Im only a beginner myself
