Missing icons (I think??)

I have installed Zen Cart 1.3.8a on my pc with xampp setup. I thought I had it all sorted but I seem to be having terrible trouble trying to figure out what to do.

For example, I'm trying to add some product attributes, so I get a page full of this:

[AD] colour
7 colour brown + 0.0000 + 0 0
[AD] [AD] [AD] [AD] [AD] [AD]
$0.00 $0.00 [AD] [AD]

How I'm supposed to figure out what all these [AD] links are ???? Seems to me that I should be seeing some icons - how can I fix this?

Btw, even on this page I have a couple of [AD] links, eg at the very bottom of the page opposite "hosted by hashbox". So is this some setting in my browsers? (All of them) or my firewall?

Okay folks. Just realised as I was typing that ..... I went and switched off my firewall and now it looks right - all sorts of missing buttons have appeared. Sometimes you just need to say it out loud, don't you.
