add to cart and view cart buttons

I want to turn off all the add to cart and view cart buttons and make them completely vanish along with the shopping cart.
how do i do this?
my reason for wanting them gone is i want to use fatfreecart inside my zencart

ok i figure out how to remove the buttons on my own now i have to figure out how to get rid og the shopping cart

i removed the buttons by changing to store status to a shocase

log in to admin > Configuration > My Store > Store Status > there are 3 choices there

i'm using ver. 1.38

Why would you use a different shopping cart inside Zen Cart?

because i cant figure out how to add the google checkout and i cant figure out how to make each individual item have its own shipping price
everytime i tried to add google i messed the store up. so i figured if its easier to just use fat free cart that might be better for me.
