transaction problems with authorize.net (Sim)

I'm using godaddy as the host. I configured the cURL proxy in the admin. I also enabled SSL. I'm using Authorize.net (Sim).
I also have no idea what the difference is between Authorize.net SIM or AIM.
I am a n00b at this. Please help.

These are the two messages I get when the transaction fails:

Re: transaction problems with authorize.net (Sim)

Also I wanted to mention I installed SSL yesterday afternoon. In the Godaddy Control panel when I go the host it says:

" Current Hosting Account Status: Pending Account Change "

However when I go to manage SSL certificates, it says my SSL certificate is currently active.

I also decided to do a fresh install of zencart and I get these errors at the beginning.

  • CURL requires SSL support. Please notify webmaster or hosting company. 7 => more info..
  • CURL problems detected: 56 => Received error code 403 from proxy

Do I have to fully wait til Godaddy is finished updating my host account for SSL to work?

I'm confused and help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

psxboy500:

I'm using Authorize.net (Sim).
I also have no idea what the difference is between Authorize.net SIM or AIM.

SIM takes your customers to another site to collect payment. Some customers get scared when that happens.

AIM collects payment details directly on your site. CURL and SSL are required in order to do this.

It seems that somehow the module isn't able to calculate the proper security responses, and is thus returning error code 99.
This could be a result of a bad transaction-key or an unsupported currency, but is a very rare occurrence.

I'd suggest that you try the AIM module briefly and see if it gives a similar error, at least for reference.

It seems that your transaction key is probably invalid.

Please regenerate your transaction key on the authorize.net site. Then copy+paste the new key into your Zen Cart module settings.

Re: transaction problems with authorize.net (Sim)

is there anything else i need to do because when I tried to install a new copy of zencart earlier, i got this message in the beginning of the installation:

CURL requires SSL support. Please notify webmaster or hosting company. 7 => more info

CURL problems detected: 56 => Received error code 403 from proxy more info..

I have no idea what is wrong, I know godaddy supports curl.
I also installed the SSL cert.

Do you have to do more on the SSL installation?

Re: transaction problems with authorize.net (Sim)

also this is how i have my config.php files:

// Define the webserver and path parameters
// HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.your_domain.com
// HTTPS_SERVER is your Secure webserver: eg-https://www.your_domain.com
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://getyourwebstore.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://getyourwebstore.com');

// Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

and the one in admin folder:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://getyourwebstore.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://getyourwebstore.com');
define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://getyourwebstore.com');
define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://getyourwebstore.com');

// Use secure webserver for catalog module and/or admin areas?
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');
define('ENABLE_SSL_ADMIN', 'true');

Here is the actual cart site I am working on:
https://getyourwebstore.com/trumystic
Is there more to do than this???

Your site is painfully slow. Actually, I've been waiting for 5 minutes now and it's still not loading.

I still don't know why people insist on trying to run an ecommerce business on GoDaddy hosting. Not a good basket to put all one's eggs in ... as demonstrated by the fiasco you've experienced today.
