Different payment methods for different product attributes

I don't know if this belongs into this forum , but maybe someone can help me here.

I sell PDF language documents that customers can either download or have delivered on a CD.

If a customer buys the download version only Paypal as a payment method should be active. If he buys the CD version he should have the option of paying via Paypal or cash on delivery . Is this possible ??

You'd have to write code to make it work this way.
