Email to group members only?

Is there a way to use either the send email function or the newsletter function to send email only a specific group? I have groups of customers defined but no way that I can see of just sending an email to that group of people.

I have this question also. I saw a thread (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61729) that described using myphpadmin to do this but it didn't have any specific detail...and I couldn't figure it out from the thread.

I am also searching for a solution. I would like to email to customers who purchased from me last May/June. I can email to people <3 Months, but I'm sure this data should be easy to track down. I get queasy digging into the MYSQL files for data.

Any result for newsletter to send email only a specific group?

yeah what cr byte said you need to add a query

select customers_firstname, customers_lastname, customers_email_address from TABLE_CUSTOMERS where customers_group_pricing = '1'

assume your group you want to send to is group pricing 1.

is its your second make a 2nd group where customers_group_pricing = '2' etc
