Custom Catagories

Hi there,

I have a question, what would be the best way to build a custom catagories type thing where you search for boys or girls, then by age, style, brand, that filters the results evenly?

It would appear that you are looking for a feature (function) that gives results of a search that are conditional to a previous search - or conditional to the contents of an input field.

Zencart does not currently support this feature.

Well what I am thinking is that instead of a 'search' as such, more like a button which I click e.g. 'boys', then on that page opens up a dialog where you can select what age, style, etc. Not having to click though each of the links e.g. boys/youth/skate/product info...

any ideas?

This functionality might be possible with a custom-built module, but it would need expert input - someone who is entirely familiar with the php structures within zencart. You would probably have to hire someone to write it for you.
