a couple of general questions

How do you get rid of the option to choose HTML or Text only newsletter on the create account form?

How do you disable the pop up window for the additional images? For example, see http://www.redhotruby.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=12

It's not necessary to see the larger images for the 3 additional images so I want to disable to the pop up window.

Thanks.

Re: a couple of general questions

I figured out how to disable the pop up for additional images.

In Modules>additional_images.php you change 'Yes' to 'No' after if (!defined('IMAGE_ADDITIONAL_DISPLAY_LINK_EVEN_WHEN_NO_LARGE')) define('IMAGE_ADDITIONAL_DISPLAY_LINK_EVEN_WHEN_NO_LARGE'

Re: a couple of general questions

Anyone know how to align the additional images to the left? I tried putting align="left" in tpl_modules_additional_images.php but that didn't work.

Thank you.

Re: a couple of general questions

I put

#productAdditionalImages img {
float : left;
}

in the css and that works for aligning the additional images to the left.

So, how do you turn off the option to choose HTML or Text emails in the account creation page?

Thanks!

Re: a couple of general questions

I'm not sure you can turn off the HTML/text option, but it really doesn't matter. I only send out text Emails so it doesn't matter what they chose initially.

Re: a couple of general questions

You'll need to remove or comment out the relevant part near the bottom of:

includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_create_account.php then put it in includes/templates/your_template/templates

I'd strongly suggest that you only send text emails if you're going to do this - it's illegal in some places to send HTML email where the customer hasn't opted-in.
