featured listing vs. product listing

Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me out here. It is likely something simple that I am just overlooking, but I have not been able to find anything like this on the forums...

Using html in the product description editor, I have added an image to several of my product descriptions. The images show up great on the featured listings (**http://www.cycleaware.com/index.php**).... Notice the orange product names.

Now look at the same products as listed on the product listing page **http://www.cycleaware.com/index.php?...=index&cPath=1**. Same product, same description, but where are the images?

Can anyone tell me why, or tell me where to look to correct this?

Re: featured listing vs. product listing

By default, HTML is disabled in the product listing. This is for safety, as the description can be truncated in the listing and any HTML that continued after the cutoff would be broken and cause you problems. The stock featured centerbox does not include the description at all.

It looks like your Template Monster template has custom code in the featured centerbox that displays the description (truncated) but does not disable HTML (a potential pagebreaker), while the somewhat customized code in the product listing retains that safety.

It is possible to remove the safety as long as you are careful to avoid breaking HTML. Search the forum for zen_clean_html.
