Manufacturers Metas

Hi all,
I would like to know where we are building the manufacturers metas - description, keywords and title.

I've been toying around with inc/mod/meta_tags.php but I don't seem to be finding where it talks about this.

I want to make it so that manufacturer page is given manufacturer name for title, keywords and description. I dont want to add in all of the cat names and tagline and whatever else is going on.

I have been trying to find a way to add metas and a custom description to each manufacturer.

I see (and kind of understand) in the meta_tags.php where it talks about TABLE_MANUFACTURERS and SQL queries.

Why can't we add a few things to the TABLE_MANUFACTURERS? Like meta keywords, description and title and then call on them in meta_tags.php?

I see that I'm not the only one who would like to do something like this. Any way we can get a mod going on for this?

I also have the same problem for the all_products, and new_products pages, plus when they get dived in 1 or 2 or 3 pages to show all the products or all the new products, all those pages have the same meta tags, and google penalyzes for duplicated content, how can i fix that ? thanks

Does anyone have any thoughts on getting custom meta data and title for "view by manufacturers" pages?
