Hide Categories untill logged in

IS this possible, Basically i just want to hide the categories from showing untill customers log in.

Sure is possible, just go to Admin>Configuration>Customer Details>**Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices. **Set to:1= Must login to browse

i did that and that turned of sideboxes and everything, i just want the categories and products not to show

Oops. You are right. I'm sorry. You could install my Mystery Box and modify it to show an image until someone logged in, the have it show your categories. That's the kind of stuff that I designed it for. I know that would work.

How would i go about making that display instead of the category sidebox to non logged in users
