Can my customers create a customer account?

I would like for my customers to create an account that that can log on to on my website and that contains all their information(shipping, billing, personal, etc). I would also like to make it so they have to log on in order to checkout? Is this possible and if so how?

All this is a basic function of Zen Cart. We usually hear people asking how to make it not required! :)

The "Login" link at the top of a standard page has a link that leads to the create account page for new users.

i would like to have the create account page as my front page to my website how do i do this?
