Zencart Loading VERY Slowly On My Hosting Service

I'm sure this is NOT an issue with Zencart but want to ask if anyone else has experienced their store loading slowly. Zen has been around long enough to have resolved issues like this years ago.

I have sent a support ticket to my hosting service asking why this is happening. Takes a full 45 seconds (or more) to load on high-speed cable. It's the same thing when I'm in my admin and takes forever to get anything done waiting for pages to load...:(

Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks for any input!

Start by turning on your Admin configuration/logging/Display Page Parse Time to see if it's your database ot if it's the php that's parsing slowly.

Any ideas why this might be?Lts. But they would all be hypotheses whereas, if they are any good, your web host should be able to pinpoint the bottleneck.
