Recommend site (as opposed to product)?

Is there a side box module to recommend the site as a whole - as opposed to an individual product?

I've started trying to re write the tell a friend module but it fails with no product id and I can't work out where this bit of code is to code around it!!

thanks

Not sure if this will do what you want, but there is an editable sidebox mod in the downloads section....
