Product listing has disappeared

Hi,
I've been adding a couple of modules today:
Paymate payment module
and
Simple bank deposit module

They work fine, but now when i go to click on an item to view it's details, it goes blank. ie no description or picture etc.
My categories links also disappear.
All im left with is the banner and ezy page links at the top of the screen.
The bottom half of the page is cleared.

If i don't click on a product to view its detail, my site looks fine in every way...

Any ideas what i might have written over to cause this?
Thanks!

Re: Product listing has disappeared

Usually these modules do not mess with display files but did you cross reference if any had a file with the same name and location? If so these need to be merged

A url to your site will improve responses

Thanks kobra,
What would i look for when cross referencing?

The module I'm using is an older module 1.3a, so maybe some lines are no longer valid...
Just can't seem to find a mod for 1.3.8 anywhere.
(Sorry my site is not up yet and currently paymates not installed, so can't provide link)

Any file that by default exists and the module has a replacement for it and any file that one module has a replacement and another module also has this same file as a replacement

Thanks, the paymate module adds these 2 files:

includes/languages/english/modules/payment/ paymate php file
and
includes/modules/payment/ paymate php file

Would these be a culprit with any files in 1.3.8?, (without looking into the files themselves)

Appreciate the help. I'm pretty hopeless with this part of zen.

Re: Product listing has disappeared

Assuming you have your owned named template

Try switching to the calssic template and see if the issue remains - if it does not then it is narrowed to a template(files) issue

Thank you again. I'd actually just tried that and you are correct. Template issue.
Now at least I'll have a point to start studying from!
Cheers for that :)

Re: Product listing has disappeared

If done properly - only files that were edited are in your template folders and this narrows which and the number of files that require checking

One way is to rename files one at a time via ftp and the default will be used - refresh your site to see if the issue is gone - if not name back and move on to the next file until you locate the offending file
