How to add image on main page?

This being my first post and new to zen cart, I have a question that may be simple for most of you. I attempted to add an image on my main page, .../define_main_page.php. I think I add the correct code

But it doesn't display the image (just the no image icon). Which folder do I need to upload the image so it can find the source. Also, do I need to add anything to the code like typing where the source file is? Or is there a much easier way than all of this.

When adding images to your pages outside of admin panel, you half to do this

1. use your ftp program
2. upload your image to the following folder
3. includes/ images
4. :smile:
5. all lower case, with no spaces
6. EX: image.jpg
   EX: image_house_001.gif

Once you have your image uploaded to your images folder using the steps above, simply use a link such as this..

Just need to resuurect this thread to ask a quick question. Ive added a image to my main page by adding a line to define_main_page.php.

I just need that iamge centered, What is the easiest way of doing this?

Please help! this ones driving me nuts!
