How to add text or image at bottom of page

At the bottom of my page, it displays the copyright 2008 and ip address. I took off the IP address, but would like to place some images of credit cards, add text, etc. Can someone help my locate the directory or where to find how to edit that section?
Thanks,
Steve

Try the tpl_footer.php
