IH2 problem... very strange...

When I installed the image handler 2 mod, my store is fine after uploading the files... but when I go into the admin and click the "install image handler"... all the content in the main area of the page disappears... pictures, descriptions.. all of it.. but when I uninstall the image handler in the admin, it all comes right back. I've looked all through the IH support thread.. all 244 pages, as well and several other threads, and it doesn't look like anyone else has had this problem. Does anyone have any ideas what I might have done wrong?? :cry:

Did you make sure to follow Tim's instruction in the read-me:-

If you use a custom template, copy the contents of
includes/templates/templates_custom into your custom templates folder or
merge the files if the target files have already been customized by you.*

If you overlook this step and you have a custom template, you'll probably have issues.

Yup... I did all that. I've installed this thing on like 6-7 different stores without a problem... I've never encountered this before.... Seems like the issue would be a database thing since installing/uninstalling from the admin makes everything go away or come back... it's strange! :huh:

Anybody have any ideas what could be happening here.. ?? :shocking:

I've been through the forum, through the image handler support thread, I posted this question there, but it's getting ignored completely and I really really really need some help with this.

When I go into the admin and click "Install image handler" it appears to install fine, but then I go back to my store and everything below the Filter Results by: [dropdown] is just gone... completely gone. When I "uninstall image handler" in the admin, it all comes back.

I've checked all the files several times and they are all in the right locations. I'm running 1.3.7 with a custom template.. and I did make sure that all the files that need to be in the custom template are there.

Anybody have any ideas... any... at all... I can't figure it out.. I've double, triple, quadruple checked the files... I know I must have screwed up something, because I've done this before and it's worked fine.. for some reason it just won't work here... I can't figure it out :cry:
