remove the display of error messages

I have an error message appearing at the top of every page
"Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels."

I don't want to upgrade, I just want to hide this error message, Please help

That message only appears when your database is out of sync with your PHP files.
And that only happens if you've begun an upgrade but haven't completed it, or if you've installed a set of files not compatible with your current version.

So ... your solution lies in the answer to these questions:

What version of Zen Cart are you currently using?
What addons/contributions have you installed?
When did the message start appearing?
How does that compare with things you've been changing/editing/adding/uploading?
