Missing Manufacturer Drop Down

Not sure why but I am unable to find the manufacturer drop down now. On this page:
http://www.thriftydigitalcamera.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_102
which is a category listing, I always thought I saw a drop down with all relevant manufacturers. Am I missing something? Can I add one?

Go to tools>layout box controler and turn the sidebox manufacturer.php on.

Unfortunately, that doesn't help. I'm talking about the <select> drop down box that lists all manufacturers for products that are displayed. The sidebox would just put a complete list on the right (or left) side. I enabled it and it just displayed the complete list. I do not recall disabling it because I really liked it.

Are you talking about the manufacturer sidebox? You want to have at the sidebox the dropdown, right?

oh...i guess I got you point now, try this:

go to admin configuration>product listing> and turn on the

Display Category/Manufacturer Filter (0=off; 1=on)

and set to false

Include Product Listing Alpha Sorter Dropdown

Do you have any technical details about what files it gets included in? I have been modifying some of the PHP and template files to add functionality and there is a chance I mistakenly commented it out.

I dont quite get you...according to what I know there are no files to modify, you can configure this from your admin.
