how reset admin username and password?

Please can anyone tell me how to reset the admin login username and password? thank you:smile:

Assuming you can access the admin currently then add a user + pass as you want

admin > tools > admin settings > insert >

I tried everything in that article, however no matter what I do, the log in page keeps coming up anew every time. Even if I enter a wrong password it just reloads the login page and I am unable to send a new password to my email account.

Any ideas??

Dr. Byte, I also saw your recommendation about refreshing cache and cookies if the page is reloading without any error remarks, that also did not fix the problem.
