stock level of attribute

I have looked for a while but success keeps interfering with my attempts to improve things... tut

I need to keep tabs on the attribute stock quantity of a product, not just the main item ( I might have 10 of something in pink, but only 1 in blue for example)
Is there a way to set the attribute stock?

Yes. The Stock by Attribute add-in module available in the downloads area.
