Flash Video on Products page

I use zen cart 1.3.7

Hello I'm trying to include a video in product page, so I have seen this post and I've tried, but appears the blank page. So I've deleted folder and files.

I would know because I deleted the folder ss and video, why how if I go on admin who is online I see that someone is seeing for example

/includes/languages/italian/magic/ss/video1282.swf

also if I don't have this video and I don't have anymore the folder ss and video because I have deleted.

Re: Flash Video on Products page

Ight so I figured it out, basically what I did was insert my flash code into the tpl_product_info_display.php page and then concatenated the product id onto the end of the swf file. This enables you to have a unique video playing based on each product id. So my code looked like this:

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="includes/languages/english/ss/video<?php echo $products_id_current; ?>.swf" width="368px" height="280px"> <param name="movie" value="includes/languages/english/ss/video**<?php echo $products_id_current; ?>**.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high"><param name="BGCOLOR" value="#000000"> <param name="menu" value="false"> </object>

where exactly on my tpl......should I place this code?

Re: Flash Video on Products page

Does anyone know the PHP code to put into tpl_product_info_display.php to conditionally show this Flash Video based on the existence of the .flv file?
Does anyone know the PHP code to use the preview image file name (minus the .jpg) instead of the product ID as the Flash file name?

It would be greatly appreciated in the form of a paypal payment thank you.

Re: Flash Video on Products page

I have found the holy grail to embed flash or others files for vid formats a wonderful player

http://www.platipus.nl/flvplayer/download/1.0/index.php

it is really simple follow simple directions, change the screen size if needed in the code works with EI8 and FF. Has a nifty auto-start feature if needed and of coarse stop and start features as well. And the best part is it is freeee. No license to purchase. There is a donation button. This is a must for people that want flv, swf, ect to work with a player.
