Credit Card Payment without PayPal

Hello people,

I am new to zen cart so I apologise in advance for any stupid questions. I have a PayPal account but I am not from the US or the UK so PayPal Pro cannot be used so as for a customerto pay without having a PayPal account. Is there any way for a customer to pay without being registered with any intermediary?

I know that in South Africa for example, people can SEND funds through a paypal account, but cannot RECEIVE funds.

Zencart has a standard C.Card off-line payment module, so if you have a eftpos (epos) terminal, you could consider using this offline module.

Before you do, you must check that you will not be violating any conditions in your merchant agreement with your clearing bank.

I live in Cyprus. Unfortunately I don't have a POS to process credit cards offline:blush: The PayPal Pro functionality was the best if it could work for Cyprus. Any other suggestions?

You may be able to work with PayPal standard. Please get hold of your local PayPal office (support) and ask them.

A good option is to visit your local bank - one that issues credit card clearing accounts to merchants - and to discuss their terms.

Then it may be a case of working with that bank to develop a Credit Card module that interfaces with zencart. (This can cost money).

I still believe you should get hold of PayPal in Greece/Cyprus.
