zencart and creloaded

Kim,
The question was for a comparison and contrast of the 2 if anyone had experience with both.

Is there bad blood between the branches of oscommerce? Reason I ask is that a similar question comparing oscommerce and zencart on the oscommerce forum was recently deleted.

I suppose the only thing open about open source is the source, and that the familiar fiefdom-like approach to human endeavors prevails regardless of the effort at hand. Don't get me wrong, your many tireless contributions to the zencart effort are appreciated and I'm sure they are countless, but the immediate and inappropriate closure of that thread makes one yearn for an Ode to Microsoft.

Thanks anyway.

...and this one would have been better posted to me privately.

But this is the Zen Cart Support site and we don't share anything except the common roots from 5 years ago. We have moved on.
