57 items in cart and getting error message Please Help!

Hello,

ver 1.3.7
I have 57 items in my cart and am trying to place an order. Whenever I get to the checkout_payment screen I am getting this error message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home2/silvtcom/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 177

Many of the items have 1 attribute. Any ideas on how to fix?

I was able to get to checkout_payment 1st time I belive but entered a coupon code and hasn't worked since then.

Now getting this message:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home2/silvtcom/public_html/includes/modules/order_total/ot_coupon.php on line 271

What's happening is the 30 sec. time limit is being reached before the process can be completed.

If PHP is being run as CGI then you can create your own 'php.ini' file, if you haven't already, and add this line:

max_execution_time = 60

Adjust to suit.

PS: Admin > Tools > Server Info will tell you if PHP is run as CGI. Look at this setting: Server API - will be Apache or CGI

what payment method are you using?

I just made a test of 62 seperate items, with no slowdowns and no errors

I really hadn't choosen a payment method yet. I got to the screen and entered the coupon code and submitted so it would bring back the new amount.

Fixed with new PHP.ini
