Sales Tax Not Displaying

In the admin or cart side

I have a rate set

when i add products i put it on taxable goods,

then gross price 39.95
net price then displays as 39.95

Have you set up zones and assigned the tax rates to those zones?

yes, it was working fine then it all of a sudden i noticed it wasnt putting in the tax anymore
