Customizing layout for subcategory product pages

So, I have this subcategories page here http://proexoticwear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_2 and I don't like the way the products are listed. I DO like the way the "new products for April" products are listed with just the icons. Can someone please tell me how to get my product listings to look like the new products and how to remove the new products area below? Thanks in advance! :smile:

Go to download section at look for
Column Layout Grid for Product Listing

I think its in the template alteration section

This will put it in the grid format your after

admin - configeration- layout settings - Category box, show products new link

set it to false

this will stop the new products links showing

Hmm, that takes away the new products sidebox, but doesn't remove them from the main body. :huh:

Hmm, I installed your suggestion and ran the sql patch, then went to admin>configuration>layout settings>product listing-layout style. I changed it to columns and it says the default is 3 colums per row, but my site only shows one column no matter what I change the number to. What is going wrong? :frusty:

eta: Nevermind! Something so little and dumb like MISSPELLING MY TEMPLATE NAME and voila, now it works when I fixed that. insert sheepish grin smiley here
