Help to install Quantity Discount addon

Sigh, very frustrated here! I can't find just the basics anywhere for install addons and I need step by step exactness, cause what I'm doing is just not working. Of course none of these addons seem to come with install instructions so that doesn't help.

I have Filezilla, I have downloaded Quantity Discount. Exactly where do I put the file? I dragged and dropped to admin, and tried again to public/html and nothing.

Of course, I have no idea where to find QD in Zen anyway because that too is elusive information. I've searched through pages of this forum and I can't find this info!

What, in baby words, do I have to do to get this installed?????? WaaaaHHHH!!!!:(

Put an ad in commercial help wanted and ask someone to walk you through installing a mod. Don't just pay them to do it - pay them to show you how to do it. This is a skill you need to have.

Wow, that was amazingly unhelpful. If I wanted to pay someone to do this, I'd have already done so. If I had the income to pay someone to do this I'd have already done so.

Anyone else care to elaborate?
