table error please help: "table 'sessions' doesn't exist"

firstly im not sure this is the correct place to post this issue but,

my website was working pefectly today and all of a sudden i refreshed my orders and i got this error

1146 Table 'vpfabcom_zencart.sessions' doesn't exist
in:
[select value from sessions where sesskey = '51931ce662a6732b0d9f91ed3dae48bc' and expiry > '1207453126']

in both the admin and website, please help i dont know what or how to fix this...

Hopefully you make regular database backups ... because at least one of the tables in your database is missing or damaged badly enough that it's not recognizable: the table named "sessions".

well i backed up right before this happened, the sessons is in the correct area where all the other tables are, for some reason it doesnt show up on the myphp admin and oviously the website itself any options? or even a fix, i have lots of time into the current zen, templates, products, etc i would like to save however want the website back up asap.
