Replacing category text with images

I'd like to replace the main category text with an image.

How do I do this?

Re: Replacing category text with images

)Forgive me if I didn't understand that link) but if I did understand it I don't think that technique does quite what I want.

This image is how my store looks currently

This image is how I would like it to look.

The information categorys are unchanged, but the product categorys all have images and no text that link to them.

Thank you.

Re: Replacing category text with images

Do you mean the category name text in the sidebox, or the description text in the center column?
For the sidebox names, you can use Categories Dressing.
For the center descriptions, you can make the description "text" an HTML link to your image.

Re: Replacing category text with images

I mean the product categorys:

Men
Women
Jewelry
Art

All need to be turned into pictures.

Re: Replacing category text with images

That is one of the core functions of Categories Dressing. You can make the category names into either foreground or background image links (depending on whether you want them to change on hover).
You would also hide the sidebox heading with

#categoriesHeading {display: none;}

and, if you needed to, remove the box borders and background with

#categories {border: none; background-color: transparent;}
